Education College
Jinan University began to offer part-time courses to adults in 1981. The Adult Education College was established five years later and started providing part-time courses for associate and bachelor's degree programs in Hong Kong and Macau in 1988. To meet the needs of overseas adult education, the Adult Education College was renamed the Education College in 1993. Since 2002, it has made part-time courses available to overseas Chinese in Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Germany and the UK. The Education College has received multiple awards from the provincial government for its education quality.
The Education College values adult education in overseas countries and regions, and has been emphasizing the expansion of overseas adult education and its growth in scale. Currently, the Education College offers courses in more than 50 programs to students in Indonesia, Thailand, the U.K., Germany, Hong Kong, Macao and diverse cities in Guangdong Province. Programs available to students cover such areas as accounting, business administration, information science, law, clinical medicine, computer science and technology.
