At present, the development of China's economy is facing a series of restrictions such as restriction in land use, shortage of energy and of water resources, pressure incurred by population expansion and environmental carrying capacity. Industrial transformation and upgrade is considered to the central task of China, especially in economically developed areas, in 'Thirteen Five' period to adapt to “New Normal” state. In order to carry out the 'industrial transformation and upgrading mechanism and policy research to promote international academic exchanges in the field, ' industrial transformation and upgrading: International Seminar on International Experience and Chinese Practice is to be held in Jinan University on July 1st -2nd, 2016.
