On the afternoon of November 14, the Zhuhai campus hosted a mobilization meeting titled National Fund Enhancement Plan: National Natural Science Application Promotion Meeting. The event featured Li Xue, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Research Department, who provided valuable policy guidance and application advice for faculty members. The meeting was attended by Pei Tingrui, Deputy Director of the Campus Management Committee; Huang Shiqing, Dean of the College of Packaging Engineering; other college leaders, department heads, and over 20 teachers and students.

During the meeting, Pei Tingrui extended a warm welcome to Li Xue, expressing appreciation for her insights on applying for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Li Xue began by reviewing the school's progress in national science and technology initiatives in 2024, analyzing funding scenarios and common application challenges while outlining the school’s strategic responses.

She emphasized critical topics such as scientific integrity, technological ethics, and safety, highlighting the importance of the NSFC's action plan in fostering a robust academic environment. Li Xue reminded attendees to ensure the safety, reliability, and controllability of their technological innovations and applications. She also encouraged campus faculty to actively seek funding for national science projects to enhance the school's research and development capabilities.

In the interactive session that followed, Li Xue engaged with teachers and students, discussing specific matters related to project applications. The mobilization meeting successfully concluded with renewed enthusiasm among participants for the upcoming applications to the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2025.
